I love the idea of a cantilever console table for a narrow hallway like ours.
I am loving the curtains/windows, and that armoire is perfection. Not crazy about the ceiling fan, though.
Completely agree. I mean, granite is fine, but people are a little too obsessed these days.
Same goes for stainless steel appliances. Sorry, but I still prefer plain old white appliances. Watch an episode of House Hunters and you will see what I’m talking about… “ohh I love the granite and stainless steel” every time someone sees a kitchen.
i’m about to say something real controversial here. watch out.
butcher block counter tops > granite. i just think they lend so much more warmth to a kitchen. love them. i want a giant butcher block island in my (way-in-the) future home.
